Venus (Young women)
Venus is our young women’s group that meets once a week to discuss issues affecting young women. With an 18 year history, Venus has produced various multi-media projects in the past, such as Zines, “The Little Black Book for Girlz” and short film documentaries. Most recently, Venus has created the “Girls Survival Guide” for young women entering high school. It provides information, tips and advice on how to get through those tough high school years, written by young women for young women.

The Gentlemen’s Spot (Young men)
This is a young men’s mentoring & discussion group that meets once a week. The group is in its third year and provides a safe and supportive environment for young men to discuss issues that affect them. At the end of each year, the group goes on a camping retreat that focuses on capacity building, mentoring and leadership training.
