Jane Bunnett and the Spirits of Havana - our musical director returns for the 6th Global Divas Concert
Kiran Ahluwalia - a performer of two distinct styles of vocal music from the Indian subcontinent, now India and Pakistan
(Kiran is a returning Diva from 2003, our first Divas)
Brenna MacCrimmon - internationally acclaimed Turkish folk singer.
Maria Farinha - internationally recognized as one of the foremost singers of Brazilian Jazz and Bossa Nova.
Uitsile Ndlovu - a member of Soul Influence, an a cappella ensemble African in its choice of rhythm and beat, Afro-jazz in its musical style. Uitsile is from Zimbabwe.

The evening begins with our benefactor reception in the Barbara Frum Atrium, located in the heart of the Canadian Broadcasting Centre at 250 Front Street. Join us to savour tastes from restaurants such as La Palette and The Curryer, take a turn to bid on unique packages and items at our Global Marketplace silent auction, then come and take a seat in the Glenn Gould Studio and hear the electrifying sounds of some of the most talented women artists from Toronto 's vibrant world music scene.
